Crazy Sunday morning it was. Mom, Dad and youngest sis left for Batam. So, bro drove me and my sister to NUH to visit our goddad. The moment we reached there all of us started crying. Couldn't bear to see him in that state. He looked and sounded fine but the worst part was he couldn't remember any of us. A part of his memory is now gone. While our godmom told us the entire story, tears just kept flowing. Seeing him behaving differently as if we were strangers, it was so heart wrenching. I guess its true, some things are just unexplainable. I truly believe it now. I pity my godmom cause she's been through so much. The only thing I can do for her right now is to pray for his recovery and for her to just be strong and be patient. They took care of me since I was a baby. I guess now is my turn to be there for them. Gonna have to try my best to help him regain his memory back in every possible way. God, please lessen their sufferings and give them the strength and guidance to pull this through. Amin.
